Following the success steps of the firm's flagship, the Pulsar AS200 is powered a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The Triple-Spark DTS-i engine is tuned to throw out a churning power of 23.5 BHP @ 9500 RPM and achieves a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 RPM, while mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 is built around a Perimeter frame, which is further incorporated with Telescopic front forks with anti-friction bush and Nitrox mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties have been taken care by disc brakes at both front and rear. The alloy wheels and tubeless tyres play a very important role in order to make the motorcycle an Adventure Sports.

In terms of styling, the major attraction of the Pulsar AS200 is the imposing front half-fairing carrying a badge of "Adventure Sports" and an extended visor protecting from wind while going at high-speed. The high intensity projector headlamp has been installed to provide premium lighting. Even being an Adventure Sports motorcycle, the Pulsar AS200 is available in the Indian two-wheeler carrying a pretty much affordable price of Rs 94,780 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
